TEHO Ropes & Supplies Pte Ltd has recently been awarded a contract by one of the world’s leading shipping companies for the supply of our MAGNARO®-HMPE Plus ropes to 4 new built vessels.

The contract calls for a total of 72 coils of MAGNARO®-HMPE Plus mooring rope with matching MAGNARO® Rope Protector as an additional safeguard against abrasion.

The MAGNARO®-HMPE Plus has the strength of a steel wire mooring rope of equivalent diameter but has less than one seventh the weight. Our genuine HMPE ropes are also much lighter and easier to handle than conventional synthetic ropes, and the lower snap-back provides increased safety.

TEHO Ropes is very proud to have been selected as an innovative partner for the supply of the mooring ropes for this new buildings program and we sent a technical team to the Chinese shipyard to supervise and assist in the first installation of the ropes.

This shows our evolution from a traditional rope stockist to a real rope specialist with extensive technical knowledge and experience, and the ability to offer the necessary after sales support for high performance rope projects.
